I have Graduated from High School!

Wow, I can't believe it took me this long to post about my High School Graduation! I meant to get this up on June 28th (the day of my graduation), but this somehow (I don't know how) slipped through my mind.

I graduated from High School on June 28th. I was homeschooled and the organization CHEO puts on a ceremony every year for the graduating members. I was amazed at how awesome it felt to close 12 years of education and I praise God for getting me this far!

Afterward I had a Graduation Party at school (my home, duh :P) and it felt like a This Is Your Life type of moment. A lot of people who helped shape me the way I am today were there. There was also some amazing food thanks to my Mom and my Grandmother (wicked sweet shoppers :)). I'm never going to forget my Graduation and my Graduation Party.

I'm going to pursue College this year and going to get a bachelors degree in Business and Communications. I still don't know 100% where God is leading me, but I know it will be an amazing journey!

Wii and DS Friend Codes

I created a page where I'll put my Wii and DS friend codes so you can play against me. I've added all of my friend codes for the Wii and DS.

Update 5:15pm 7/21/08: I have just added all of my Nintendo DS friend codes.

Update 5:41pm 7/21/08: I have finished adding all of the codes for the Wii and DS.

Going Away For The Next Week

I'm going to be away for the next week and by away I mean totally away from the computer (Except for next Thursday and Friday). I'm leaving for a mission trip tomorrow with my youth group and will be coming back next Thursday. I won't be back long (long enough to repack and do my Friday workout with my personal trainer) and will be heading to Breathe Festival 2008. So don't except to hear from me until the following Monday.

Just wanted to let you know so you don't freak out about me not responding to your emails (I know, I admit I live connected to the internet even when I'm not at my computer!).

Lively - Google's New

Google has launched a new tool called Lively, which is Windows only, and it looks decent. The controls aren't quite as fluid as Active Worlds and it has a limited set of choices right now, but it's not bad! I haven't used it enough to gather an opinion on it, but I'll give it time. I recommend you check it out and see what you think.

I've embedded my apartment after the break.

Feedly - Firefox Extension

I found out about Feedly last night and this may change how I view feeds. It integrates with Google Reader and shows you the latest items in your feeds based on favorite feeds plus reading habits. This way you can still use Google Reader while on the road and come home and use Feedly while at your desktop. It also will soon integrate with your friends who use Feedly and you can recommend feed items to them.

I hope this lasts and continues to be developed since it is really cool!

Mozilla Firefox 3 - I'm Trying It Out

I downloaded Firefox 3 yesterday to see what all the buzz was about. If what I'm seeing so far is any indication, it may well be (in my opinion) the best browsing experience to date.

The "Awesome Bar" is really a pretty cool thing and it has helped me find addresses and sites I forgot I went to. The awesome bar also remembers your selections and grows with you. I can tag bookmarks and type their name or their tag and they show up in the awesome bar. The memory leaks and performance issues have also been addressed and I no longer have to force-quit Firefox when it stops responding.

There are other things like extensions and most sites work with Firefox even more than Safari. I really am impressed and at this point I think I'll stay with Firefox unless I find out later I dislike it. This is all my opinion and your mileage will vary when finding web browsers.

Tab Is Back!

This morning we got home from our workout and got a call from a neighbor who got Tab inside. We went over and picked him up and now he's happy to be back!

What Should I Do Today?

Almost Had Tab Back!

We got a call from one of our neighbors that Tab was on their back porch. We walked over and Tab ran away quickly. We called to him and we almost had him until he got scared and ran out of my mom's arms.

The good news is he's alive and still close to home---the bad news is he's still outside. We'll keep trying and hopefully we'll catch him and bring him home. He's really scared and probably hungry.

Tab's Still Missing!

Tab the Cat

Tab is still missing since last Saturday. I posted flyers around the neighborhood, I went to the local Humane Society, I posted on a few online lost & found sites, I've done everything I can think of! We're going to look at getting another cat tomorrow, we've been thinking of getting one Guenevere died last Summer.

Jovrom - New Show by Chalutz Productions and The Name I Wanted Was Taken

Avrom Honig of Chalutz Productions and Feed Me Bubbe and I have teamed up to create a new Internet show on the Mogulus platform. We had our first taping tonight and I think it went pretty well for a first episode and for our first time doing a live show under the pressure of recording. You can view the live show stream below the break or click on the episode in the sidebar of the player.

We hope to do this more and will continue to improve our show along the way. One day Episode 001 of Jovrom will be like Episode 1 of The Mr. Fluffles Show.

Can't Sleep, Tab the Killer Cat is Missing...

It's 12:43 am and I can't sleep, Tab is missing! He's been gone since Saturday/Sunday and I've looked all over the house and all around outside. I miss when he always jumps into bed and freaks me out in the middle of the night. I miss him attacking my feet while working on the computer. Oh Lord, please help me find Tab! Tab's been with me since Copper died, animals really do make you feel better! :(

Vineyard Amsterdam

Yesterday I went to the Vineyard to try out their college ministry, Joshua House, and heard that they are doing an awesome thing. They are planting a Church in Amsterdam! That is such an awesome witness and I am going to be praying for their success in this tremendous endeavor.

They created a video about this mission. Click Read More to view the video.

Now you can play some GameTap games in your browser

GameTap has released a prototype of a new in-browser gaming feature for 11 games. The in-browser playing is pretty sweet! I can see using it when I'm on the go and want some quick gaming action.
